In a world that celebrates power, hustle, and performance, I’ve learned that real leadership doesn’t come from standing above others, it comes from standing beside them.

For me, business has never just been about the success of a brand. It’s about the posture of the heart behind it. Whether I’m running a national pageant organization, building a lifestyle brand, photographing stories through my lens, or homeschooling my son, one thing remains the same; every table I sit at, I want to serve.

🌿 A Table Built on Faith

The name The Servant’s Table came from a quiet prayer one morning, a simple request that God would keep me humble, no matter how high the platforms get. I’ve learned that leadership without humility becomes noise, but leadership with purpose becomes legacy.

Scripture reminds us in Mark 10:45, “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give His life as a ransom for many.” That verse has become a cornerstone for me; not just in ministry, but in business. To serve with intention. To lead with love. To never forget that every title I hold is borrowed, but every life I touch is eternal.

đź’Ľ When Leadership Looks Like Service

Running National Imperial Miss taught me that leadership sometimes looks like staying late when no one else will. It looks like forgiving people who misjudge your heart. It looks like taking the hits with grace because you believe in something bigger than yourself.

Servant leadership doesn’t mean being weak. It means being willing.

Willing to rise above bitterness.

Willing to speak truth with compassion.

Willing to wash the feet of others, even when the world expects you to protect your crown.

✨ Redefining Success

Success, for me, isn’t measured in followers, sales, or applause. It’s in how I show up when no one’s watching, in the quiet decisions that reflect the Kingdom more than the culture.

It’s in how I treat people who can do nothing for me.

It’s in the way I give God the glory, even when it costs me comfort.

Each day, I ask myself, “Would Jesus be proud of the way I led today?”

Some days, the answer humbles me. Other days, it reminds me that grace is still the greatest leadership strategy ever written.

🕊️ Setting the Table for Others

The Servant’s Table is a place where I hope to pour encouragement into others who feel called to lead but weary from the weight of it. Leadership is heavy but you’re not meant to carry it alone.

If you’re building something; a business, a family, a dream; remember that you are leading someone, even if it’s just the little eyes watching from across your kitchen table.

Set the table with grace.

Invite others to sit with you.

And lead with a heart that serves before it speaks.

Because true influence doesn’t shout, it serves.
